There are art galleries like this one that are veritable museums and often successfully replace institutional museums in their efforts to educate people about history. The Tears of War exhibition, featuring a good portion of the paintings Costantini created in 1924, for which he was accused of defeatism. These paintings show the harshest and most human aspects of the First World War, and are a warning against war from a human perspective. Definitely worth a visit.

An art enthusiast since high school, I visited this prestigious gallery during a summer vacation a few years ago to explore the possibility of purchasing a piece to enhance my beauty salon. I immediately fell in love with Luigi Bertelli, whose work, every glance of which today reminds me of that hot July day in Rome. Sublime works, unparalleled professionalism and expertise from the staff. A must-see for art lovers and non-artists alike.
