The service always was above and beyond! We were treated to a very nice prosecco toast before lunch yesterday and always a delicious limoncello after meals, plus good company visiting with the owner.
We come to Rome every week and will always eat here if possible, that’s how good.
Because of the long queue and the good reviews, we decided to try Gourmoso instead — and we were genuinely impressed. The restaurant was calm, cozy and welcoming, and the staff was very friendly and quick.
We had:
* Gnocchi with green pesto
* Spaghetti Carbonara
* Pizza Diavola
And everything was excellent. The Carbonara was perfectly creamy and authentic, the gnocchi were fresh and full of flavor, and the Pizza Diavola was outstanding — crispy crust, great ingredients and just the right amount of spice.
While everyone else was standing in line next door, we were sitting comfortably enjoying fantastic food and a really lovely evening. Sometimes it pays off not to simply follow the biggest crowd 😊

It has famous Italian classics, but also a few lesser known but just as Italian favorites.
I had a salad with tuna and eggs. Not for nothing, a perfect boiled egg on a salad is not easy, but they did it here.
The service is fantastic. I worried about the reaction when I received a phone call and had to rush out, but everything was fine.
Unlike so many tourist trap restaurants, Gourmoso offers everything you want, for less than €20 per person.
