Notable creations include imaginative deconstructions like "Pollo alla romana" presented as a bonbon and Parmigiana reinvented as a gelato stick. The dishes were creative and deeply inspired by Italian culture, evoking feelings of family and the sea. The drinks were professionally crafted and absolutely delicious.
Overall, it was a truly lovely evening for us.
The restaurant offers traditional Roman cuisine with a modern and creative twist. We chose the nine-course tasting menu, and every dish impressed us with both beautiful presentation and incredible flavors. The staff also took the time to explain the ingredients and the origin of the products, which made the experience even more special.
Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine at a very high level — even demanding Italian food lovers will be impressed.
We had an à la carte menu. Instead of traditional antipasti, they have small plates. Our only regret is not trying more of them. The “prosciutto” e melone was particularly memorable, using fish instead of ham but still somehow capturing the essence of the dish.
For pasta courses, in addition to a classic amatriciana (which was among the best we had in Rome) we also had the pennette alla vodka, which was as beautiful to look at as it was delicious to eat.
The extra bites pre-meal, pre-dessert, AND post-dessert were the cherry on top. Service was also extremely warm and friendly.
Cannot recommend highly enough, we will be back the next time we are in Rome!
