Don’t look at all the great reviews. Was staying at a near by hotel went by to order 3 pastas and a ravioli. All 3 carbonara pastas were extremely underdone and hard and the cheese tasted cheap and lackluster. The ravioli tasted straight out of a box. The house wine was rancid. Worst meal I had 3 weeks in Italy. Service was also horrible.

The food at this restaurant is exceptional and it truly exceeded my expectations. We visited on the first night of our holiday and felt compelled to return the following day. Although it is outside of central Rome, the quality of food and experience is undoubtedly worth the trip. I highly recommend the carbonara and cheeseburger; however, you cannot go wrong with any dish you choose.

A great little restaurant just around the corner from our hotel. Populated by locals this small place offers great food and wine at very reasonable prices. The carbonara is the best that I have had and the desserts simply delicious. The house white wine was more than acceptable and very competitively priced. There is only one waiter, who has a very pleasant demeanour, and all the food is freshly prepared so don’t expect rapid service. But hey, you’re in Rome, soak up the ambience. If this place was on a Metro line it would quite rightly be hailed as one of the best trattorias that Rome has to offer. We have dined in a few places that were inundated with tourist groups but they couldn’t hold a candle to this place. It is definitely worth a trek off the beaten track.

This restaurant makes everything in-house. Everything you eat is made by Chef Luca and his colleagues. Nothing here is bought except for meat, fish, flour, eggs and vegetables.

Incredibly good food, large portions, acceptable pricing, comfy seats & atmosphere and a friendly service make this restaurant one of the top restaurants in rome to eat central-italian food.

This place is an absolute must.

We were served by a lovely girl Vittoria on Monday night. Great service and really delicious food. Found the price reasonable too and nice outdoor seating area. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area :)
