Stumbled upon this lovely local restaurant during a whirlwind visit Rome. In a city with many wonderful dining options, it's worth seeking out this seafood restaurant if you're anywhere near it. The menu is only in Italian, so it's no tourist trap, but our waiter was able to translate everything. There's a choice of raw oyster dishes, hot and cold starters, pasta, risotto and "secondi" seafood dishes as well as a decent dessert menu. The oysters were fresh, the prawn risotto was rich and delicious, and the and the prawn and guanciale (pork cheek) pasta so good I'm still thinking about it. We also had the "fritto misto", expecting a little appetiser but instead getting a small mountain of delicious, crispy prawns, calamari and baby squid. The staff were exceptionally friendly, clocking that we were tourists but treating us the same as their Italian guests, with genuine warmth and helping us to wait out the thuderous rainstorms with a complimentary limoncello. We didn't drink alcohol but even so, we're surprised to find ourselves stuffed and paying only €30 per person. I have only good things to say about this place and hope I get a chance to visit again.
