This was a bit far from the touristy areas so it was not crowded at all when we were there.
The food was exceptional, from starters to mains to desserts! La Cacio e Pepe was by far the best version we have tried thus far. The fresh, handmade tonnarelli pasta was perfectly al dente and was engulfed in a creamy, rich pecorino romano and white pepper sauce. We wiped the bowl clean with bread; need I say more. The tuna steak was cooked to perfection, and accompanied by a light caponata (vegetable medley).
The desserts were fantastic as well: the millefoglie was a delight of crispy, caramelized pastry layered with an airy pistacchio mouse. The tart with ricotta and bio raspberry compote was served warm, and melted in the mouth.
The price-quality-ratio is great. Highly recommendable!
