We ordered two wraps — one falafel and one shawarma. However, the preparation process was very disappointing and concerning. The staff member put on a single previously used glove and began preparing the food. The falafel and shawarma were taken straight from the fridge, placed into an already used bowl, and reheated in the microwave. She then used both gloved and ungloved hands to wrap the food before placing the wraps in the microwave again.
I’ve tried many falafel and shawarma wraps in different places, but I have never seen food handled this way. The kiosk is extremely small, and I didn’t see her wash or disinfect her hands at any point. Overall, the process felt very unhygienic.
Because it’s the start of my holiday, I didn’t want to risk getting sick from improperly handled food, so I told her I wouldn’t be eating it and refused the order.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I do not recommend this place.
