The carbonara and Ragù toscano pasta dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. We had the meatballs to start, which were amazing!
Great Aperol spritz, wine, dessert, and limoncello to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly.
Excellent location after a day of sightseeing in Rome, very close to the Pantheon. Highly recommend! 🤩
The Carbonara was average (4/10), but the rest was truly unacceptable. The langoustines were bitter, which made them impossible to enjoy. The pinsa tasted like plastic or the inside of an electric oven.
Despite the restaurant being almost empty, we had to wait surprisingly long for our food. After a full day of sightseeing, we were very hungry, yet we still couldn’t finish our meals.
Overall, this visit fell far below expectations.
The Basilico Gnocchi was perfectly light and pillowy, with a fresh, vibrant basil flavor that danced on the palate. The Tortellini was equally spectacular—rich, comforting, and bursting with flavor. You could tell that every ingredient was chosen with care and cooked to perfection.
Our server, Julia, was absolutely amazing- friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for authentic Italian flavors with a modern touch, Pastation is an absolute must-visit. We can’t wait to come back and try more!
