The vellutata di zucca was spot on, nice presentation, strong flavors but well balanced.
The saltimbocca were also well executed, definitely recommended.
They also sell fresh pasta and Italian goods.
Our server's grandparents were from Eritrea, and he was able to empathize with what we were experiencing back home in Minneapolis. That immediately made us connect. He was wonderful, as was the food. The pasta was al dente and sauced the right way, making the pasta the king of the dish. Too often in the United States, restaurants drown the pasta. Casadora's was perfect.
Casadora is a charming spot for lunch or dinner. If we discovered it earlier during our trip, we would have returned. I heartily recommend Casadora for a great meal.
