Our favorite meal in Italy! The dishes here were such a good change from the rest of the typical Italian restaurants, but still Italian in nature. Service was great, and every dish was absolutely delicious. Seriously a level above all other places.

Hands down, the best steak tartare I’ve had in quite some time; an absolute must-try. The place itself is full of charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering just the right amount of variety to keep things interesting without overwhelming you. Altogether, it makes for a truly memorable dining experience.

I wish I could give 6 stars. Cecilia Sanra Cucina nailed the three legged stool of excellent service, food and ambiance. So good that we ate there twice during our four days in Rome. Get the beef tartare. It's otherworldly. The tartare is just one instrument in an orchestra of flavors. Tomatoes, mozzarella, Basil complement the beef. The bread service is also not too be missed. Anchovy butter served with three or four different breads. It's excellent. The wine list is all local Italian wines that are very reasonably priced. The owner also comes by to check in. He's super friendly and genuinely wants to know how things were. A great spot worth a visit.

I tried the 3 plate tasting.

To start, bread was brought out with a side of butter flavored with a seafood I didn’t catch. The bread was clearly homemade but one of the loafs wasn’t kneeded properly, resulting in a vein of uncooked flour. The “dry zone” on all of the slices extended about 1.5cm into the slices from the perimeter, I think the bread was left out too long, or was simply a bit overcooked. Or perhaps it was as intended, who knows.

The bread was listed at €6 and wasn’t on the bill, so perhaps they comped it. Or it was included in the tasting. Either way, I took it in stride and ate around the (imo) flaws. The butter was delicious.

Opened with the profiteroles, which were a delight, in both presentation and taste.

Next came tortellini, which had good flavor but were undercooked, not by much but by just enough to undermine the dish. The dough stayed in that slightly muddy/clay zone. Maybe another 45s and they would have been good.

Finally there was the meat plate. Tasty. No complaints here.

I expected more on the basis of the rave reviews and seemingly creative approach to cuisine. Beyond the profiteroles it all felt rather standard. All in, 60 for the 3-set, a glass of wine, and an espresso.

Service was good.

Absolutely fabulous. All aspects of this place were good. We sat outside in May after two minutes wait, in a section heated by gas heaters. Atmosphere was perfect and good for people watching. Staff, especially Christian, were attentive and helpful. Food came promptly and was delicious throughout all three purses. Raw Tuna was perfect. Pork cannellini was delicious as was the risotto. Tiramisu was a great way to finish off. Good wine list at very reasonable prices. Overall about 70 euros a piece and we felt it was worth it.
Would definitely come here or recommend it again
