Service as at best chaotic. I had the spaghetti carbonara. The good was the pasta was only a little cooked past al dente. The sauce on the other hand was incredibly weak. Six bits of lardon and basically a thickened cream. Zero flavour and I mean zero flavour. My partner had spaghetti with a plain tomato sauce. I swear the sauce was from a bottle. Overly sweet with no body. If you are familiar, it was Prego sauce!
We are in Roma for the afternoon only and to have a complete let down like this is a real disappointment.
The menu has a great variety of interesting dishes. We had the pumpkin ravioli and the oxtail ragù pasta, and both were absolutely excellent.
A special thank you to our waiter, Manuele, who was incredibly kind and helpful, helped us choose our dishes, and brought such good vibes to our experience.
We would happily come back again and highly recommend this place.
