stopped here for breakfast and were thoroughly delighted. The coffee was excellent, and we shared two homemade cakes — an apricot cake and a banana bread — both of which were so good we asked to pass along our compliments to the lady in the kitchen; she truly outdid herself! The service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. A charming spot that we'd happily recommend to anyone passing through.

Gorgeous pizza with a perfectly thin crust - so flavourful it didn’t need any extra oils/sauces! Perfect portion and reasonably priced. Claudio was so attentive and lovely, and gave us a fantastic cafe recommendation which we can’t wait to try! 🫶🏽

After trying countless pizzerias around Rome, I can honestly say I’ve finally found one of the absolute best. Papo e Lula truly impressed me. The pizza is outstanding — the dough is thin,light, perfectly cooked, and incredibly digestible. The ingredients are top quality and you can genuinely taste the authenticity in every bite.
On top of that, the staff is extremely kind, welcoming, and professional, which makes the whole experience even better.
If you’re looking for real Italian roman style pizza in Rome, Papo e Lula is a must. I will definitely be back!

I don't really even care for pizza but, man! It was on point. Get the suppli. It's a local street food thing and theirs did not disappoint. The service was super friendly and fast. Clean place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Flexible hours if you're a night owl.
