The food was great and not expensive at all! The fresh ravioli was the best I've ever eaten and the pinsa was amazing. Even my mum, who doesn't care for anything pizza like, loved it. The chocolate fondant dessert was also very tasty. Friendly staff, cozy place to sit. Right by the Pantheon but a bit hidden and definitely not a tourist trap.

I ordered the caprese and carbonara. the caprese was pretty good and the mozzarella was really fresh. the carbonara on the other hand was really dry, i wish it had more sauce. the pasta was almost al dente, maybe one more minute would've been optimal. the service was good. overall 4/5. i paid 22 euro's in total which is about average.

Honestly one of the best Osteria in Rome I ever been. Staff and Owner are very welcoming, professional and friendly. Despite the full house the quality of service and food was beyond expectations. The price also is very good considering the quantity, the presentation and the taste. I got Porchetta, Pasta Cacio e Pepe and Filetto di Pollo and chocolate desert. I would give the highest score to the Porchetta, Pasta and Chicken fillet, because it was really outstanding.
This goes definitely in to my personal top 3 restaurants in Rome, but also in my favourite top 5 of all times!
Seriously! And I've been in a lot of places, plus I have experience in f/b industry.

Please do never change! I'm looking forward to visit you again!

On the last day in Rome I wanted to have great lunch before going home. And Osteria del Grillo was a perfect place for me ❤️ we ended up having some bruschetta for starters and my wife had some pasta with mussels and shrimp, I’m not sure the name of it sorry. They had lasagna for a special day and it was delicious and the size of it was huge! I ended up ordering some meatballs as well, I have to say those were the best meatballs that I’ve ever eaten. The service was amazing! The young lady’s did a fantastic job. It was fast, friendly, and fabulous ❤️ Thank you so much.

The food was delightful the carbonara was the best I have ever tasted and I really liked the dish/Pan serving. The Pinsa was really tasty but a bit filling with the pasta, a massive cheese overload.

The restaurant has a lovely calm and romantic atmosphere. It was a very cosy place with nice calm background music.
