The food was absolutely delicious, and they were super accommodating - my boyfriend is gluten free and I am not, and they were able to do a tasting menu for the two of us that was perfectly portioned, safe for him, and still allowed me to have some of the gluten I enjoy. The duck carpaccio was a highlight, but every dish was tasty and unique to the rest of the food we had in Rome.
Service was also remarkable. The staff were very well informed of the menu and provided fantastic recommendations. We asked them to pick two glasses of wine for us, and both were absolutely perfect. It felt like every detail was taken care of, so we could sit back and relax and enjoy a phenomenal dinner at the end of a long busy day.
If you’re interested slightly different but still absolutely delicious Italian food, or fantastic wine and service, I can’t recommend coming here enough.
Our host, Pablo, was incredible, and truly made the evening memorable.
The food was edging towards fine dining while remaining filling and delectable. We had the onion tartin, the braised beef pasta (photo attached is a 1/2 portion!) , and the pear ricotta dessert. All three courses were memorable and delicious! We enjoyed the meal with a bottle of Prosecco recommended by Pablo, and it was delectable.
We will undoubtedly be back for every future visit. Thank you Ristorante Sofia!
If you’re Korean, I’m sure you’ll love the food. If you’re celebrating your honeymoon, just tell the staff your budget and ask for their recommendations—they’ll create an incredible meal for you.
We had the carpaccio and the risotto, and they were the best dishes we had in Rome. The wine pairing was absolutely perfect as well.
Everything was so delicious that we ended up ordering more than we had originally planned!
Cristiana was incredibly kind throughout the evening, which made the experience even more memorable. If we ever come back to Rome, this will definitely be the first restaurant we visit again.
