The food is very affordable. You should try the Spaghetti Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe, Lasagne, Cannelloni, and Gnocchi. The pistachio cheesecake and the tiramisu are a must.
I rate this place 11/10. ⭐
P.S.: please do let us know if you release a Ci Piace cook book, we miss the food already!
After eating, my partner had offered to pay as a treat and the waiter asked for a tip- to which her card was blocked as we are tourists visiting. I then paid. My girlfriend had more than enough money in her account, her bank blocked the payment as we were abroad. This waiter proceeded to imply my girlfriend was a gold digger AFTER we had tipped him despite his service. He had an incredibly smug attitude which was very unwelcoming, and drove us away from coming again.
We ordered 2 pastas and 1 pizza to share and it was great. The workers inside the restaurant looked incredibly welcoming, store had family atmosphere. Shame that we had the awful waiter instead who tended to the outside tables.
We would have definitely revisited through the 5 days we stayed in Rome if it was not for this waiter who served us. An incredible shame.
