It’s everything you hope for in a true Roman dining experience. It’s a beautiful family-run restaurant with such a warm, authentic atmosphere. Rudy made us feel instantly welcome, he is very friendly, attentive, and with a great sense of humor.
A special highlight: they use their own extra virgin olive oil from Puglia, and paired with fresh bread… it’s honestly heavenly!!!
We tried the carbonara and cacio e pepe, both were absolutely delicious, rich, and perfectly executed. The artichokes (both fried and alla romana) were also incredible and a must-try!
Portions are huge (come hungry!), and when I couldn’t finish my food, Rudy jokingly scolded me saying “what would nonna say?”, which just added to the charm of the whole experience.
If you’re in Rome and want authentic food, generous portions, and genuine hospitality, this place is a gem. Would 100% come back!
When I accidentally stained my shirt, the waitress even offered to help me clean it.
Highly recommend from the bottom of my heart, definitely worth a visit!
I am writing to share what a wonderful experience we had at your restaurant. We enjoyed dining with you two nights in a row during our recent visit. We also visited twice in a row last November, and we continue to be impressed. Your families olive oil was the best as well! We purchased several bottles again!
Thank you for the excellent service and food.
