Shall start from the end: such Tiramisu as we had at “Antonio” to finalize fantastic dinner, I never had in my 72 years!!!
The last thing you expect as you walk from the Pantheon (my favourite place in Rome) to Fontana Dei Travi, with million people around you, is to find such an excellent restaurant with such charming service. The food was amazing. Especially the fish. Service we received from Kelly was something to write home about. Bottom line: although in the most touristic place in the world - Trattoria Antonio is very authentic and simply perfect.

Amazing pasta and a wonderfully relaxing dining experience!
The lobster pasta and truffle carbonara were both absolutely delicious—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. They genuinely let us sit back, relax, and enjoy our meal at our own pace. Highly recommended!

The best place we visited for our 7 days in Rome. I’m so glad we found this gem at our last day.
It made us belive in Italian food again after several dissapointment.
They where so friendly and made us feel special.

We first went for lunch, and after having the best donut I have ever tasted (it was an old roman recipe), we decided right away to book a table for our dinner later the same day!

There’s a lot of room for humor and laughter, so no need to be shy😅

Thank you, for wanting us to come back to Rome, just to eat❤️🏛️

Simple Roman ingredients treated with great care and respect—easily the best pasta I’ve had so far in Rome!
I had a wonderful dinner at Trattoria Antonio al Pantheon that perfectly captured the charm of a traditional Roman trattoria. The dining room is small and intimate with a beautifully painted ceiling and relaxed Italian music that creates a warm atmosphere, and the staff were attentive and super friendly. The fried zucchini flowers were outstanding—crispy outside with a creamy filling and a delicate briny flavor from the shrimp. My pasta alla gricia was the highlight of the meal: perfectly al dente pasta coated in a rich, glossy sauce with generous pieces of crispy, flavorful guanciale and freshly cracked pepper. Even the warm bread and excellent olive oil were memorable, especially when used for the final scarpetta.
