When I eventually got my turn, I chose the Classico, and my wife chose the Cacio e Pepe. It was absolutely superb. The lovely crunch of the fried exterior, the delicious flavours of the meat and sauce, the texture of the rice, the gooey pull of the Mozzarella cheese centre, bellissimo!
My only regret is that I didn't buy a few more different flavoured ones or try the Pizza slices.
There was a bit of a line when we arrived, but don't let that put you off. It moved incredibly quickly, and the wait was absolutely worth it. Each supplì is generously sized and costs only around €2–3 depending on the flavor, making it an amazing value for money.
They have a rotating selection of daily flavors alongside a much larger menu, so not every option is available at all times. That just gives you another reason to come back and try something different.
Perfectly crispy on the outside with a rich, flavorful rice filling, every bite was incredible. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or want to experience one of Rome's classic street foods, this place is an absolute must-visit.
