The first thing that bothered me though was a strange chemical smell coming from the table covers or cleaning products. Maybe I’m sensitive to it, but it stayed noticeable during the whole dinner and kind of affected the experience for me.
Food-wise, it was okay. Not bad at all, but nothing really memorable either. We ordered a variety of dishes and overall the quality was decent, just not at the level I expected.
The biggest issue was the service. Everything took a long time: ordering, getting the food, and even paying the bill. What annoyed me the most was that the dishes didn’t arrive together. Some people got served, then others had to wait another 10 minutes or more. In a group dinner, I think everyone should be eating at the same time. Otherwise some people eat while others just watch, or food gets cold waiting.
Overall, Luigi is fine if you’re nearby and need a place to eat, especially for a larger group without a reservation. But honestly, I think there are better restaurants in Rome.
And yeah… Luigi without Mario felt a little weak on his own 😅
Didn't check the toilet on this restaurant but I hope it is cleaner than the reactivity of the overall service. Be brave Luigi, you can do it 💪
What stands out most is the consistency: every bite feels intentional, every dish memorable. The service complements the experience, attentive without being overbearing, adding to the overall ease and enjoyment of the meal.
It’s the kind of place where you leave already thinking about your next visit. Truly stellar from start to finish, and absolutely a restaurant I would recommend without hesitation.
2. Pizza was crunchy at the outside, fluffy in the inside, it was special flavour that recommended by the server.
3. Steak, juicy steak, I had tried many steak during my Rome and Naple trips, this steak was cooked into perfection.
Overall, if you were in Rome, please give this restaurant a try. Kudos to the servers and chefs who prepared our meal. Good job.
Everything about this place is simply wonderful — from the warm and attentive staff, to the cozy atmosphere, and of course the delicious food. Every visit has been consistently excellent, and it truly feels like a place that cares about its guests.
