If you are looking for an incredible meal close to the Colosseum, Benso is the place to go. The restaurant has a lovely, inviting ambiance and features a large selection of Italian foods to choose from—everything was absolutely delicious. The ultimate highlight of the meal was the tiramisu, which was great and incredibly flavorful. A huge shoutout to Enzo for his fantastic and amazing service; he truly went above and beyond to make our evening special. Highly recommended!

The food is generally decent, and the service was friendly and attentive. I ordered a beef steak, but the flavor was a bit unusual for my taste. The mushrooms had a slightly slimy texture, which I wasn’t sure was intentional. The staff kindly offered to remake the dish, which I really appreciated, although the result was quite similar.
Overall, the prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The seating is comfortable and not crowded. There is also a restroom available, although it could be cleaner. Wi-Fi is provided.
