This place was average at best. I don't know how it got such high ratings. Maybe people have an experienced real Italian food, but this was not that great. My son had the carbonara dish which wasn't that good
I make better carbonara at my house than I had this restaurant. The chacutere board with the meats is very small compared to others that I've had in Italy.

We popped into this restaurant after waiting around over 15 minutes for a table at a very close by restaurant and got no service as they staff was socialising. In comparison, the team here run a tight ship with patrons seated quickly as they come and we saw them being open to families with children. The food was delicious. We really liked the Pepe and tiramisu (order it if you do come by, you won't regret it!)

We had a lovely dining experience here for lunch. We ordered the grilled baby octopus, lasagna, aglio e olio, and a prawn dish.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the aglio e olio. the pasta was cooked to perfection, with excellent al Dante texture and flavor. The grilled baby octopus was also outstanding, tender and perfectly cooked with a beautiful char.

The lasagna was slightly firmer than expected, but the flavors were still enjoyable. The prawn dish was well prepared and complemented the meal nicely.

The service was excellent, and the ambience was warm and inviting. The waitresses were especially friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit.

Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience with great food, wonderful service, and a pleasant atmosphere.

The food was phenomenal! The tiramisu was the best. The steak was cooked perfectly, and my salad was delicious as well. Our waiter was phenomenal! And the wine was great as well. No complaints on anything. Everything was wonderful.

Delicious food & authentic Italian menu. We were seated quickly & had great service. Food was incredible - tasty olive oil & balsamic vinegar, fresh greens for salad, homemade pasta cooked al dente, grilled artichoke and fried calamari. Great restaurant to eat after touring the Colosseum. Don’t go to overpriced places with bad service with the Colosseum view.
