The restaurant offers three menus, offering a modest number of courses, and, reportedly, regular updates of the dishes offered based on customer feedback and orders. We certainly noticed a great deal of attention to every aspect, from the welcome, timing, dishes, and quality. We ate dishes of great quality, quantity, and even more sophisticated fare, especially the Portuguese menu, which I personally enjoyed. Among the appetizers, "Flavours of Lusitania" and "Crispy Gold," the "Risotto Lusitania" was delicate, and the "Sussurro di Pere e Nozze" (Whisper of Pears and Walnuts) was good, perhaps a little dry, although perfectly cooked. The first course of the Roman menu, which my children tried, was not bad, with spaghetti carbonara and amatriciana. The dishes, perhaps a little weaker, were perhaps a bit weaker, but it's not a Roman restaurant. The wine selection is good and extensive, including both Italian and Portuguese. The desserts are excellent, the tiramisu is the best of the many I've tried. I definitely recommend it because it's more faithful to the traditional recipe, thanks to the choice of ladyfingers and the intense flavor of the "top" coffee. The Chantilly cream and strawberry crumble is also very good and delicate (perhaps I'd call it millefeuille rather than crumble). The complimentary house dish, consisting of bread balls with sauce to accompany it, is also delicious and delicate.
A word for the waitress: very courteous, attentive to service, the tables, and the display of the dishes, offering suggestions for variations or, if a product was missing, suggesting an alternative.
We were delighted to discover this place, and it's definitely a favorite and a must-visit. Kudos to the entire staff!
