Everything was very, very tasty, unique combinations, beautiful colors on the plate, a simple yet refined place. We truly indulged.
I've read the reviews about the high prices: I wonder if these people have seen what you get for the same money, in Rome in general and in Pigneto in particular.
Let's talk about the dishes:
- the fried anchovies had a seasoned breading that took me back to lost flavors, and the parsley mayonnaise was incredibly delicate.
- the brioche with onion and pulled pork isn't an appetizer: it's a full-fledged course. Amazing.
- fusilli alla genovese were delicious, not heavy, just the right amount of moist.
- gnocchi were very healthy but good!
- zuppa inglese was truly delicious.
We'll be back and will talk about it because it's worth it.
