Mamamì Portuense

The hotel recommended us and it was a full success. Very friendly service who also spoke good English. Amazing cocktails and the pasta was very delicious. Definitely a big TRY IT!

An Unforgettable Final Night in Rome!
We visited Mamami Portuense on the last day of our holiday in Rome, and without a doubt it was the best dining experience we had during our entire trip.
Unfortunately, we were so excited (and hungry!) that we forgot to take photos of the food, but every single dish was memorable. For starters, I had the Polpo Mamami, while my fiancée chose the Bufala con salsa tartufata. Both were absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared.
For the main course, I ordered the Tagliata di Manzo con Scaglie e Glassa with a side of Patate al Forno, and my fiancée had the Fettuccine with salmon and gamberini. The quality of the ingredients, the flavors, and the presentation were all outstanding. Every bite confirmed that we had chosen the perfect place for our final dinner in Rome.
The desserts took the experience to another level. The Strawberry Tiramisu was fantastic, but the real star was the Mojito Cheesecake—honestly one of the best desserts I have had in a very long time. I struggle to find words to describe how good it was.
What truly made the evening special, however, was our waiter, Luca. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and passionate about ensuring we had a wonderful experience. Thanks to his recommendations, we enjoyed some excellent limoncello, a few shots of amaro, and even some herbal digestive drinks that were a perfect ending to the meal. His hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome and turned a great dinner into an unforgettable memory.

Casami was an absolute standout on our trip to Rome. Truly one of the best dining experiences we had in the entire city. Every dish was crafted with care, but the pasta stole the show. The carbonara was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, easily one of the best we’ve ever tasted. But the real star of the meal was the pistachio crème pasta. It was exceptional, unique, indulgent, and unforgettable. Would come back to Rome just to have this again.

We visited 12/05 and it was amazing. Even though we dont speak Italian all the staff were lovely and accommodating. I misread an Italian word and accidentally ordered a meat dish. Our server was so lovely and completely understood what was wrong and had the chef remake mine with no meat. We were more than happy to still pay for the wrong meal on top as it was completely our fault. I would 100% recommend this place and if we had more time left in Rome we would definitely eat there again. Technically we ordered for 3 people which is why I have put the price as €62. The wrong meal was €16.

Mama Mia, What a great experience. After 4 weeks of travelling around Italy, on our 2nd last night we find the best restaurant in all of Italy. So good that we even went back the next night. Service was excellent and food was exceptional making for a very pleasant end to our holiday. Many thanks to our Sicilian waiter whom made the whole experience even better.
