L' Arrosticino d'Oro offers a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, often described as resembling a charming mountain lodge inside. Despite its popularity and frequent busyness, the restaurant maintains a pleasant environment with high ceilings and a clean, minimalist decor. This establishment stands out for its friendly and cordial staff, contributing to a casual, pub-like character with a hint of vintage, shabby-chic styling.
The cuisine at L' Arrosticino d'Oro is authentically Abruzzese, specialising in the region's famous arrosticini. Guests can savour various types of these traditional grilled mutton skewers, including classic, black Angus, and truffle-infused options, often presented in typical terracotta pots to retain their warmth. Beyond the skewers, the menu features other regional delights such as the substantial "Maxi tagliere" of cured meats and cheeses, "Pallotte cacio e ova", and a selection of bruschette. For a sweet conclusion, their saffron tiramisu comes highly recommended.
This Roman eatery is an excellent choice for a variety of visitors, including families, friends, and couples seeking a relaxed dining experience. Its cosy seating and ability to accommodate groups make it ideal for gatherings, from casual afternoon stops for coffee and dessert to more leisurely evening meals. On Saturday evenings, the venue sometimes enhances the experience with live music and karaoke, offering a lively setting for those wishing to extend their night out.

The arrosticini were absolutely top-notch!
We had all three types.
The best, in my opinion, were the ones with liver.
The grilled ones are a real treat.
All paired with an excellent Montepulciano.
Highly recommended.
