Excellent sea food Osteria. WONDERFUL service makes you feel that you are invited to the home of close friends although it was our first visit. The fish is extremely fresh and well prepared with real Italian sea food tastes. The house white wine is pecorino very good. The menu is long and very variable. We took the sea food salad, fried alici and 1 ball of tuna and aubergine. All were 10/10. I then took a mixed fish grill which was very good 8/10.
Will definitely come back and try other dishes.

Had a great lunch at Abbate Osteria di Mare. The seafood was super fresh, beautifully cooked, and rich in flavor. Nothing felt overdone. Staff were really friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The vibe was relaxed but still felt special. My husband couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was, during and even after the trip! Definitely a spot we’d go back to next time we’re in Rome 😍

It was our last day in Italy, and we finished it with a great lunch at Abbate Osteria! We had mussels, octopus and squid - to get our last Italian seafood fix. It was so welcoming and comfortable. Of all the great places we ate in Italy (over 3 weeks), this is the place I most want to go back to. There are so many more dishes we want to try. I guess we will have to go back to Italy just so we can eat again at Abbate Osteria and see our new friends again.
