Details

EDDAJE Pinsza Romana offers a truly distinctive dining experience within Rome's Esquilino district, located on Via di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme 26, just a stone's throw from San Giovanni. This modern and welcoming establishment boasts a charming atmosphere that beautifully evokes authentic Roman character, featuring a blend of contemporary and rustic design elements, including exposed brick walls. What truly sets it apart is its unique "pinsza," an original creation inspired by traditional Roman pinsa but shaped like a classic pizza, renowned for its lightness, crispness, and high digestibility due to a special blend of flours, careful hydration, and over 24 hours of slow maturation.

The culinary focus here is on this signature Roman pinsza, available with a tempting array of classic and local toppings. Diners can enjoy innovative variations such as Carbonara, Amatriciana, and Gricia, alongside more traditional options like Fiordilatte e Pommidoro. Beyond pinsza, the restaurant is celebrated for its excellent fried starters, with supplì and fried tripe being particular highlights, and the tiramisu often receives high praise. The overall food quality is consistently high, with the pinsas described as exceptional and remarkably light.

With its pleasant and tranquil ambience, coupled with a team of young, friendly, and attentive staff who consistently provide excellent service, EDDAJE Pinsza Romana is an ideal choice for a variety of occasions. It particularly suits those seeking high-quality Roman specialities in a relaxed and inviting setting, whether for a casual lunch, an enjoyable dinner with friends, or indeed, a special evening out. Furthermore, the availability of gluten-free and lactose-free options ensures that almost everyone can savour their delicious offerings.

Youthful and modern atmosphere. Pizza is different from the norm: crispy but well-leavened, and with top-quality toppings. Good gluten-free options, and all fried foods and desserts are gluten-free. Prices are a bit high, but not excessive for the location.

Dinner included Roman pinsa, a battered and fried porchetta appetizer, a lactose-free tiramisu that actually didn't bother me, and pinsa alla gricia. All with water, red beer, and a terrific amaro for €34.50 total. I left feeling full and happy, considering the quality of the food. The guy and his girls were really nice. Recommended.

Everything was excellent!!! They offer pizzas topped with the best traditional Roman dishes, but also custom-made traditional pizzas. Roman appetizers include fried tripe with the accompanying tripe and fried porchetta. Impeccable, fast, and attentive service, with the utmost courtesy and helpfulness from all the staff. The desserts were also excellent, and what's more, the place is very welcoming and not at all chaotic, as it often is on Saturday nights. Definitely worth repeating!

Excellent pinsa. Worth the journey. Order on wassapp and walked there to collect. Restaurant is beautiful so will be going back again for starters etc.
These guys know what they are doing. The oxtail was beautiful, the wife cooks it a lot and was impressed how soft they got it. Really worth a detour to find, and trust me we are both picky.
