A True Roman Treasure: Pasticceria La Deliziosa is a Must-Visit!

This place is absolutely outrageous. They are doing pastries right! The owner is super nice and I hope she goes far, as her pasties are to die for.

If you are looking for the absolute best pastries Rome has to offer, stop searching and head straight to Pasticceria La Deliziosa. Seriously, do yourself a massive favor and try this place out—you will regret it if you pass on this experience. I'm ready to box up the entire shop and ship it home!

The star of the show for me were the aragostinas. I have never had a better version in my life. They were perfectly cooked, super crispy and flaky but never dry or over-baked. Each bite was sheer perfection.

But the excellence doesn't stop there. Their cannolis are simply insane. The shell is crisp and the ricotta filling is clearly made with high-quality ingredients, striking that ideal balance of sweet and creamy. And of course, the maritozzi are absolutely to die for. The impossibly soft, sweet bun filled with a cloud of fresh whipped cream is a decadent masterpiece that defines Roman breakfast bliss.
Pasticceria La Deliziosa is a little slice of heaven. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this bakery deserves all the praise. Go now!

Very cute, authentic patisserie. Great espresso and lots of options. Love how they have mini sizes so you can try more than one. You can see into the kitchen which is extra special.

It is a little pastry shop so expect very limited seating (tall bar stools against a long table that runs across the wall in front of the display case).

But even with such a limited seating arrangement, the pastries here? Really gooood.

I had Maritozzo and Ventaglio with capuccino and it was just really delicious.

I recommend visiting this pastry shop.
