Went there around 9pm and luckily they were still open. Stepping inside gave me such a familiar, almost melancholic feeling.

The street outside is a bit dark and empty at that hour, but the restaurant itself is bright and clean (except for the toilets).

Loved how they keep the ginger in the phở and even have fermented garlic on the table, it really reminded me of northern-style phở in Vietnam. The trà chanh was also perfect, just like back home.

Staff were really nice too.

Super delicious! First time i tried this spicy rice noodle with beef and lemongrass. 😋 the soup, when you eat it, you will not coughing because too much oil or chili, but still spicy delicious. Friendly staff, nice interior, they have clean toilet for costumer as well. You also can pay with card. Totally recommend and like it.

My friend even say it and thanks me because we got lucky to find this good resto and good menu 😊

Please don’t get this place confused with Ristorante Pho So1 near Termini as they’re not affiliated with each other. The one in termini isn’t authentic pho —the flavors are off and the owners/wait staff don’t speak Vietnamese.

During the holiday season, Google hours aren’t as reliable as we’ve dropped by a few times when Google said it was open but wasn’t. So if you’re craving pho during the winter holiday season then make sure to call to verify they’re open.

Once you’re here this place is pretty spot on as those in Vietnam and little Saigon in San Jose and OC. The owners are from Vietnam (Ho Chị Minh) so the pho flavors and bun bo hue is correct. They even have veggies with the noodle soups. Each noodle soup had so much meat! The mango salad was delicious! This is definitely authentic pho near the Vatican. A lot of the diners during our visit were Vietnamese and other Asian American.

The amenities like the restroom is super clean—I didn’t have to use my Lysol spray and wipe. But like most Italian places there’s no toilet seat covers so bring your own. The stall is enough to fit 1 adult and 2 little kids.

Authentic Pho & good restaurant

I order Pho Bo Tai
- Meat is super tender and juicy. Very easy to chew.
- Soup is very flavorful, yet comforting.
- Price is affordable. Small size is €9, large size is €11. With generous meat.

The drink, Lemonade mint tea is very delicious too!

Definitely a gem.

Overall great experience. Pretty good food for the area in Rome! Big space; great for small or large groups. Service was good too. We were craving pho and came across this spot. It seemed like northern style Vietnamese pho. We ordered the cha gio (egg roll) vermicelli, beef pho Vietnamese coffees. Definitely check this spot out if you’re in the area. Till then, let’s travel and eat.
