A MUST TRY!!
I surprised my Lebanese wife by bringing her to this place on our last night in Rome, (needed a break from all the pasta) and this was by far the best place we ate during our trip! We absolutely loved the tasting menu and couldn’t get over how authentic everything was. It’s a family owned restaurant and they treat you like family the minute you walk in. Our server was amazing, attentive, kind, and was happy to know that my wife was Lebanese and enjoyed her experience here. There is nothing and I mean nothing negative we could say about this place and cannot wait to come back here on our next visit to Rome! Make sure to make a reservation because you do not want to miss this experience!

Byblos is an amazing find for Lebanese food in Rome!

Admittedly, I am unfamiliar with Lebanese cuisine, however, thanks to a friend's birthday, I think I will come back just to try out more dishes. The flavors and texture of the different courses in the fixed menu were quite unique, and I thoroughly enjoyed eating them.

I could tell that all the staff really loved the art of cooking, as we were treated with incredible hospitality. Even after our dinner, some of my friends tried to tip the staff and were told that, while they appreciated the gesture, they would not accept the additional money (we're college students, so very much appreciated).

The atmosphere was quiet and simple, with cute decor on the walls and table. It really felt like we were eating home cooking in a friend's home. On that rainy night, it was a comforting and warm experience.

The moment I walked in, I felt like I was back home in the Levant, sitting in a Lebanese family house. The food tastes exactly like home, authentic, generous, and made with so much love.

The family running the place is beautiful, and the mother who cooks welcomed me with the warmest smile when she learned where I’m from. She even gave us baklava to take away, a gesture that truly moved me to tears and reminded me of how our mothers act back home. This kind of generosity is the soul of Levantine culture.

This place is not just a restaurant, it is a piece of home.

A small, cozy Lebanese restaurant with excellent food and incredibly friendly service.

We made a reservation for a birthday dinner with a large group of people and had the entire place to ourselves. The hosts are very welcoming, offered to explain everything and answered all our questions without hesitation. As for the food, it is very well made and thought out, super tasty and definitely worth the price. You will for sure not leave here while still feeling hungry. Highly recommended, I will be back!

**Don't forget to make a reservation**. Some of the most delicious food I've ever had from the Levent. 🥰 Set menu sets the tone for a memorable experience. Restaurant is very clean and cozy. Staff is some of the most hospitable people I've ever met (outside of Iraq). The falafel recipe is one of the best recipes I've ever tasted in my life 🧆 (sorry, Egypt). The wine from Lebanese vineyards was outstanding.🍷 The family was so gracious, warm and welcoming. Probably the most hospitable service outside of Iraq or SE Asia. I mentioned to Fedi & Nahed that I was vegetarian for over 10 years. Now I eat meat once or twice a year. I decided to try this experience and I was very happy. The cuisine is very vegetable forward. The meat (beef the day I went) is a co-star, and is absolutely delicious. Unlike some other MENA or Latin cuisines which are very meat centric - this meal was the perfect balance. I rarely like babaganoush, but I devoured this version. Same with hummus - outstanding. The meat filled pastry and kebab with some sort of Lebanese salsa was chefs kiss 💓. Najah - thank you for sharing your love with the world. From the sons you've raised to the food you share - it was a pleasure. Fedi - thank you for making my experience lovely and taking care of me. Nahed - thank you for explaining the dishes and your talented hands & cooking skills. Rome is better because of your family. Long live Lebanon 🇱🇧. Shkran! I will see you again and am looking forward to visiting Byblos. 🙂
