An absolute surprise.
At first glance you might not want to dine here, but you would be mistaken.
Food is authentic, good tasting and portions are of decent size. Beverages are limited, but adequate (beer, juice, soda).
Don't look any further if you want to eat good.
Prices are ridiculously low.
The only, and I truly mean only downside, is that they serve food on plastic plates, and you have to use plastic cutlery.
So, it's not a place for taking Instagram photos. It is a place to have a great meal

I ordered a truffle lasagna, sausage, and fried potatoes. My brother ordered the roasted chicken, lasagna, and mushrooms. We also ordered two suppli, one regular and one spicy.

I absolutely loved my meal. The truffle lasagna has a richness in flavour I had yet to experience in other places (even formal dining areas). The sausages were so rich in flavour, and the potatoes were buttery and soft, with a slightly crisp texture.

The counter person was extremely helpful and spoke great English. My brother and I don’t have a strong grasp of Italian and we were looking outside at the sign for some time. Don’t be afraid to walk in and ask for help, the service is great!

I would recommend this place again to a friend for a quick and cheap meal. The quality of the dishes here beat out some of the Osterias and Trattorias we have visited. As well, many locals were coming into the restaurant which is a good sign of good food.

What an amazing find on our first afternoon in Rome.
Our server was super friendly and the three of us decided to try most of the dishes on offer and share, which was a great idea.
Every dish was delicious and so different from any Italian cuisine I’d tried before.
Don’t let the plastic plates put you off, because the food is stunning and such a pleasurable experience eating at the Food Factory.
