The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food was consistently delicious. We tried the tagliata, the salmon with pistachio crust, the grilled calamari, and the sea bass—all were excellent and fairly priced. The complimentary starter, limoncello and biscuits were a lovely touch.
Highly recommended, and we will definitely return on our next trip to Rome. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Before the soup and salad arrived we were presented with a complimentary appetizer which, to be honest, I’m not sure what it was. It seemed to be a deep fried seafood ball; regardless, it was very tasty.
The sea bass was an excellent choice. Served with roasted potatoes and vegetables it was, I think, the best meal we had in our 37 day trip through Italy. Very good indeed. Paulo brought the cooked fish to our table and proceeded to debone the fish and serve it onto our plate. The entertainment value of watching Paulo prepare the fish was very much appreciated.
We finished with a plate of fresh fruit (which honestly we could have done without) and then complimentary Limoncello to finish a delicious meal.
The service was exemplary. The server, Paulo, was friendly and did an excellent job of making us feel special.
It was a wonderful finish to an Italian holiday.
