Arco di Portogallo was a significant ancient Roman arch that once gracefully spanned the Via Lata, now known as the bustling Via del Corso, in Rome. This impressive structure, originally referred to as the Arcus Hadriani, held a commanding presence in the city's urban fabric until its demolition in 1662. Its later name, the Arch of Portugal, derived from a nearby Portuguese ambassador's residence.
