Stefano Porcari (Rome, early 15th century – Rome, 9 January 1453) was an Italian politician and humanist, known for an attempted insurrection against Pope Nicholas V and the papal power, with the aim of establishing a republican government in Rome or, according to some, his own personal power, similar to that exercised in the fourteenth century by Cola di Rienzo, from whom he took inspiration. Yes, but €5 for a rose seems excessive to me.
