I discovered this very interesting and evocative place this morning. I was struck by the Chinese rug in the window, but also by the interior design, which uses soft lighting to enhance the rugs. The owner was very helpful in explaining his initiative. I recommend it. THE FLYING CARPETS. 'Danon' on Via Margutta is one of the capital's finest carpet showrooms. They all come from the Middle East, rigorously crafted using artisanal techniques. Some of them were woven over the course of several years or even a lifetime. It's the weaving that weaves through a woman's existence, as a representation and subliminal chronology of everyday life, embracing an entire lifetime. Prices? Naturally not displayed. 😃
