• The Food: We started with the mortadella and pistachio fried dough (montanarine), and they were easily the best thing I’ve eaten all week. The dough was perfectly light and crispy, and the pistachio cream was incredibly fresh.
• The Pizza: For the main course, the peperoni pizza was perfection. The crust had that ideal Roman-style char and crunch, and the toppings were flavorful and generous.
• The Experience: The restaurant has a great, lively atmosphere, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
It’s a cute and small place which makes it loud and chaotic. At least inside. During better weather I’m guessing the outdoor openness is quite lovely.
It’s popular so try and make a reservation if you can.
The guy managing the queue and seating people was great, very lively, kind and funny. Honestly the perfect person for that role and it set a nice tone from the start.
Since the weather was nice, we got a table outside which made the whole experience even better. We had croquette and garlic bread to start, both very tasty, and the pasta was good as well.
Overall a nice place if you’re looking for a very Italian-style experience. I’d definitely recommend it.
