We came here for breakfast mainly because of the good rating and the location so close to the Vatican. The place itself is nice and the service was genuinely friendly and attentive. Our waitress Riti was lovely and looked after us well. I ordered the Casereccia sandwich because I like prosciutto with pesto, but unfortunately it didn’t quite work for me. The ham was quite salty and the pesto was barely noticeable, which was a bit disappointing. I also tried one of the sweet pastries, and sadly it wasn’t very tasty either. At the end they brought us a couple of brownies on the house, which was a really kind gesture and appreciated. Overall the staff were great, but the food didn’t really match the price. We spent over £50 for a simple breakfast and I’m afraid it just didn’t feel worth it. Personally, I probably wouldn’t come back. a short walk from the vatican museum and it’s a nice place with friendly staff - fatima served us. portions were generous and very tasty! love the pizza, pistachio cappucino and the croquettes as recommended by fatima. although very pricey and there was a lot of upsizes First night in Rome and we found this spot. First night in Rome and we found this spot. Not fancy but the food was amazing. Pizza with white sauce, mushrooms and sausage, and carbonara. Saila was excellent. First helping out on the menu selection and then checking in on us making sure we were ok. Wrapped up our left overs and brought us a delicious brownie dessert! A must stop when in Rome!
