La Nuova Piazzetta

The taste is very ordinary, it feels like an Indian restaurant. Many Koreans come to eat here, but I don't know why it has such a high rating. There are people queuing up at noon, possibly due to the high rating. The clams in the noodles are mostly empty shells, and the entire plate is full of shells. You can't even tell if they fried a bowl of noodles with shells.

Such a great restaurant. The food was very tasty, we finished everything and enjoyed it so much that we ordered dessert as well. The dessert was served in an interesting way and was also delicious.

Portions are decent, and the Aperol Spritz was done really well. I don’t like it when cocktails are too watery because of too much soda, but here the ratio was just right, which I really appreciated. The service was also very nice and attentive, even with so many people in the restaurant.

As a small downside, the place was very crowded, which made it hard to hear conversations and a bit difficult to move around, especially when going to the restroom. We also waited quite a long time to be seated, but since it’s in the city center, that’s pretty understandable for such a popular place.

I’d be happy to visit this restaurant again if I come back to Rome.

The shrimp pasta looks very good visually and tastes good as well. However, the bacon pizza has too many fat portions of the bacon which we don’t like. We ordered tiramisu and panacotta as dessert and they are delicious. The line is pretty long outside and we wait for around 20-30 mins. Would be better if they have reservation system. As for the service, it was medicore and nothing special. Because the restaurant was so busy, they forgot to give us meloncello until we reminded them. The servers went to everybody and ask to give a good review mentioning their name with 5 stars. Not sure if they are evaluated using customer reviews?
