Amazing place, was able to find vegetarian stuffs to eat, great and very friendly service ! Aubergine Parmesan Bake is a must try 😀 Hidden gem. We stayed a couple of doors down and the boss lady put up with our lack of Italian and saved the day with eggplant Parmesan, flatbreads, zucchini, red peppers, and more. lovely little bread bakery. i stop there often to get breakfast on my way to school, the ladies working are always the sweetest and are encouraging of my broken italian. the prices are amazing (coming from a broke college kid studying abroad) We were in Rome for a vacation during Christmas and Il Panificio was our place to go for bread, pasta, pastries. High quality, very friendly staff and the food is really amazing. Our apartment was close by and we would make a daily trip to try their different food options. Their panettone with pears and chocolate was incredible, we also took home (da portare via) their ready to heat and eat pastas (lasagne) and it was delicious. Highly recommend it.
