Rick Steves once said that Rome is both beautiful and brutal, and after spending a week here, I can see why. It wouldn’t be fair to judge a city or country based on my limited experience, but like many tourists, my feelings about Rome have been mixed—there were moments I hated, and others I absolutely loved. Beneath the chaos of the heat, traffic, and crowded attractions, there’s a hidden beauty, a pocket of warmth that makes the journey worthwhile. For me and my family, this place was that pocket, offering a respite that made us truly happy amidst the challenges.
Real Italian shop where the locals shop. Super nice owner. Way better and cheaper than the tourist spot across the street (I tried that place too)
Highly recommended
