RUSTIKO PIZZA on Via della Giuliana presents itself as a charming, unassuming spot in the vibrant heart of Rome. This humble establishment stands out for its genuine Roman pizza experience, offering a warm and attentive service that truly enhances each visit. Despite being primarily a takeaway venue, its character shines through its dedication to authentic flavours and friendly interactions, making it a beloved local secret.
Showcasing an authentic Italian pizza style, the restaurant offers an impressive and diverse selection of pizzas and 'mezzelune ripiene', catering to both meat enthusiasts and vegetarians. Each slice bursts with fresh, high-quality ingredients and fantastic flavours, with notable options including the Zucchini with Speck pizza and the Marinara Rustika, featuring a unique green sauce and Taggiasca olives. The dough itself is a highlight, prepared with a mixture of less refined flours, high hydration, and a 48-hour maturation, resulting in a remarkably light and digestible base, all at an excellent value, with slices beginning from just €2.50.
This delightful Roman pizza spot is ideally suited for those seeking an authentic and satisfying culinary experience on the go. It works perfectly for a quick, delicious meal, providing excellent value without the need for extensive seating. RUSTIKO PIZZA is a superb choice for both locals and visitors eager to explore Rome's rich food scene, offering a taste of genuine Roman pizza that is both memorable and incredibly affordable.

The owner is really friendly, too.
Options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Very good value for €2.50. Friendly service.
They have several varieties of pizza, both with and without meat. We tried 3, and all were delicious!
The only warning I'd give is that they have no tables there.
If you're in the area and want to chomp some pizza, Rustiko Pizza is a no-brainer in my humble opinion :)
