Black American and Asian-American wife. This was a surprise dinner for wife for Valentines Day. Had reservations for 5:30pm but got there late. Had plans after dinner, which forced us to eat a little faster. We started with the Lumpiang Shanghai (egg rolls), they were good, my wife makes these all the time. These were as good as I get at home. Could have eaten them all myself. My wife got the Kare/Kareng (Kare, Kare). I got the Costolette di Agnello (lamb chops), it was AWESOME. nice size lamp chops, juicy, cook perfectly, could have eaten another 3 chops, potatoes and broccoli side was good. Wanted to try a few other things, but since we were late, kept it simple. Order a White Russian, WOW, those are dangerous. Was so good I ordered a second one, could have had another, but I knkw my limit. Overall dinner was great, would go back if in Rome.

Tambayan Filipino Restaurant & Cocktail Bar in Rome is a wonderful spot to enjoy real Filipino food in a cozy and welcoming setting. Maganda yung place—relaxing, clean and thoughtfully designed. Owners Billy and Rhona, together with their ever-attentive staff, make sure every guest feels right at home. The vibe is relaxed, with soft lighting—perfect for unwinding with family and friends over expertly crafted cocktails/mocktails. We tried the sisig nachos, pancit canton/bihon, bulalo, mocktails and flaming halo-halo—all delicious and beautifully served. We even got some take-out because we couldn't get enough. Tambayan isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a warm Filipino experience in the heart of Rome. Highly recommended!

Newly opened Filipino restaurant in the city.
Location’s somewhat far from the center.

Quality-price ratio is higher than the average.
Came back twice to give another chance and the tapa rice with mangoes captured me, so good and original.

Plenty of cocktail selections with quality ingredients.

Inasal chicken is strangely sweet.
Aesthetically the dishes look great and pleasing.

Only thing is that I would never call a crispy pata boneless unless it’s a real crispy pata with the real part. Probably the only part that disappointed us.

But rest is ok, service is humble and great. Every our request was granted fast and with no hesitation.

As just started, I see this place with much potential in the near future :)

The location is very convenient , just a stone throw away from the bus stop. The interior has a very welcoming vibe and there is corner for pictures.
The quality and quantity of the meal is amazing (You really get what you pay for). Went for Dinner with friends and dessert was my favorite part of the evening😋

The first Filipino fusion restaurant in Rome. The place is really clean and cozy with beautiful interiors. There is a wide range choice of cocktails and drinks, and the food is sumptuous, delectable, and fresh using local products. Sisig nachos goes well with cocktails for your aperitivo and the Ube cheesecake is a must try! Will return again to try the other dishes.
