This is the most amazing restaurant we ever have been to in Italy! We have been to many places, but nothing tops this. The authentic service and food is out of this world. We will be coming back here for the rest of our lives! La fata turchina is the place to go if you love Italian food, and they put their own twist to it. Just trust the chef, anything you eat there will be amazing. 10/10. We stumbled upon this cozy restaurant in the suburbs after a short walk from where we stayed. They had just opened since we arrived early for dinner, but they were very willing to seat us despite the numerous reservations they had later that night. We spoke very little Italian, but the server was patient and friendly with us and we communicated in English where we can. They also had English menus, so no need to worry. We ordered two appetizers (eggplant and razor clams), two pastas (gnocchi de mare and parpadelle con porcini), as well as a roasted chicken. All dishes were served and cooked to perfection. I went to dinner tonight with my friend who is fluent in Italian and I’m at a pre-intermediate level and they made me feel so welcome. The restaurant is so quaint and the quality of the food was absolutely amazing. You can tell that they love what they do and it felt like I was eating at a family members home. The food was absolutely incredible and authentic. I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes! Grazie mille! ♥️
