What an absolutely stunning Trattoria in a small side street a 1 minute walk from The Pantheon. Here for a weekend break from London. Read the reviews of Zi Rosetta before making our way there. And the reviews are absolutely correct. The warm welcome from Alessandro and his colleagues was great. We decided to sit outside and that too was a great choice. The menu is very extensive and we were spoilt for choice. In the end we had a wonderful Minestrone soup and a fried artichoke to start. Then for main the Scallopine Limone and the Saltimboca Romana with a side order of grilled vegetables. Portion sizes are very generous and also very reasonably priced. A wonderful bottle of Frascati was great with the food. Everything is totally homemade and super fresh. Had to share a Tiramisu to end and that was equally amazing. What was super nice about Zi Rosetta was that you felt you were in a proper family run restaurant rather than the dozens of restaurants that appear more for tourists in the main Piazzas and charge a lot more. The food, service and ambience in Zi Rosetta is Five Star +++. So good we have booked to go back a second night to explore more of the menu. When in Rome this is a "M

The pasta dishes were amazing! We first came for pasta and liked it so much that we returned to try the pinsa as well, and everything was excellent.
A great spot in a central location where quality meets very reasonable prices. Definitely recommended!

You will not regret stopping in this beautiful restaurant for dinner, we were absolutely blown away! It was hands down the best meal we had during our entire trip to Italy.
Our server, KeBron, went above and beyond to give us not only incredible food but also such a happy, memorable experience. The staff even surprised our son with the most amazing tiramisu to celebrate his 13th birthday. W were so grateful!
Whatever your server recommends, order it. Every dish we tried was phenomenal. The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had, and our son who is used to the best of the best in beef thanks to my husband who worked in the high-end beef industry in America said the steak with red wine sauce was the best steak he’s ever had, in the States or abroad. After trying a bite ourselves, we all agreed! It was melt in your mouth perfect!!
It’s rare to find a restaurant that offers amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and truly exceptional service all in one place, but this one delivers it all. We’re already planning to come back on our last night in Rome before flying home!
