I recently tried the Friend Chicken Ramen at Ramen Shifu in San Lorenzo and it was a really solid ramen experience. The broth was rich and flavorful with a nice creamy balance that wasn’t too heavy, giving it a comforting umami punch that pairs wonderfully with the toppings.

The crispy fried chicken pieces on top were the star of the bowl — golden, crunchy on the outside and juicy inside — adding a satisfying texture contrast to the silky noodles.
The portion size felt generous for the price (around €13.50), and the noodles were cooked just right, with enough bite to hold up in the broth.

The accompanying vegetables and garnishes (like bamboo shoots, scallions and nori) lent freshness and complexity to each spoonful, rounding out the dish in a way that keeps you slurping to the last drop.

Service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere of the place adds to the overall casual, enjoyable vibe. Highly recommended if you want a tasty ramen with a twist on the classic chicken version — great for a relaxed dinner or a hearty lunch in San Lorenzo.
