We spent three nights in Rome and ate here back to back nights, once dine-in and we did take-away the second night.
The location of Da Cicero is great. It’s about a minute walk from the Trevi Fountain but far enough from the crowds and not on a busy street so it was fairly quiet as we ate outside. We stayed close by and it was about a 3 minute walk from our hotel.
I’ll just talk about my dine-in experience since nobody is interested in the dining atmosphere of our hotel room.
It was not particularly busy when we arrived, around 5pm. We sat outside, which does offer heaters and is covered. Because it’s not a busy street we weren’t flanked by crowds or a flow of tour groups so the noise level was acceptable.
We ordered pinsa and a couple salads. I learned what pinsa is—essentially pizza on focaccia. We had the salmon dream pinsa (pictured) and the salame pinsa (basically a pepperoni pizza, also pictured). My wife and I ordered the Greco salad and Caesar salad (pictured). Im not a food reviewer, these items were great.
What really made the experience top notch was the customer service via our amazing server, Tamara/Tami. She was friendly to my wife and me but where she shined was how she engaged with my kids (2.5 and 8). Bringing small children to a restaurant in America can be tough, but it’s pretty nerve racking to do in another country. My kids, fortunately, were well behaved but they responded well to Tami’s energy.
We did an earlier dinner so we were one of maybe three groups but I did see it quite busy walking by later in the evening, 8pm or later.
I’m limited to 5 stars but my 8 year old said it deserves 12/10 stars.

From the impeccable service to the exquisite flavors, every detail of this dining experience was flawless. I believe true culinary magic isn't found in the isolated perfection of a single ingredient, but in the profound synergy and meaning created when they come together.
Their Margherita pizza is a pure testament to this. The classic marriage of cheese and tomato was brilliant, but it was the rich, milky aroma of the fresh cheese that truly stole the show. It left absolutely nothing to be desired.
The entrée of salami, ham, and cheese told a similar story. The pristine freshness of the charcuterie was beautifully elevated by its brilliant accompaniments: the crunch of pistachios, the peppery bite of rocket (arugula), a sweet drizzle of honey, and a spectacular house-made sauce. This is a dish that proves ingredients don't just coexist; they amplify one another, making every bite infinitely better together.
For anyone seeking a truly special and cohesive culinary journey, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment."

The food was decent — not excellent, but not bad either, the desserts were really nice though. Overall, it was enjoyable, just not particularly memorable.

What really made the experience stand out was the excellent customer service. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which made a big difference. The location is also very nice, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere.

A good place for a relaxed meal, especially thanks to the service.

We were walking near the fountain and looking for a nice place to eat when we came across this restaurant, and it turned out to be a great find. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming and very traditional, exactly the kind of place you go to when you want to experience authentic local food rather than something touristy.

We ordered pizza and bruschetta, and both were absolutely delicious. The pizza was very tasty, clearly made with fresh ingredients, and cooked perfectly. The bruschetta was also lovely, full of flavour and freshness, and a great way to start the meal. Everything tasted homemade and carefully prepared, which really made a difference.

The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, which added a lot to the overall experience. We also enjoyed the house wine, which was very nice and paired well with the food.

The restaurant is conveniently located just a two-minute walk from the round fountain, making it a perfect stop after exploring the area. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience with fresh food, a traditional atmosphere, and great service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would happily return again.
