Rome is a place you have to see at least once; that impression will stay with you. The 930 churches that remain out of approximately 1500 are more than enough, and I don't want to think about how many souls never found their way back to their families at these very sites. But Rome is Rome, and history isn't just written here; it lives and breathes. It will take another ten visits before I can say I've seen Rome, and yes, I will come back. The energy here, with the wonderful people of today, is pure culture. Rome is everywhere you look: art, culture, history. 🌳
