The place is small but very cute and well-kept. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. The food is really good and you can tell it's made with quality ingredients. The service is friendly and attentive.
Since it's not a very large place, it's best to make a reservation, especially on weekends.

I had dinner at Esco with friends and had a wonderful experience! The creamy leek, potato, and Portobello mushroom soup was delicious, creamy, and crunchy, while the pumpkin cappellacci with Taleggio cheese fondue were truly superb, a perfect balance of flavor and lightness. The restaurant is welcoming and well-kept, with a warm, pleasant atmosphere. The service is impeccable: the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. A place to return to! Highly recommended for those looking for carefully prepared food made with high-quality ingredients in a small, welcoming setting!

Tucked away just outside Rome, Esco is the kind of place you hope to stumble upon but rarely do. Run by the wonderful duo Simone and Chiara, this cozy spot captures everything you love about Italian dining — warmth, laughter, and incredible food meant to be shared.
The concept here is Italian tapas, and it works beautifully. Each small plate feels like a celebration of regional flavours. The attention to detail and freshness of the ingredients shine through in every bite.
To top it off, Esco serves local Italian beer on draft, which pairs perfectly with the food and gives the whole experience a relaxed, authentic vibe.
What truly sets Esco apart, though, are the hosts. Simone and Chiara don’t just serve food — they welcome you into their world. Their genuine hospitality makes you feel like a local, even if you’re just passing through.
If you’re anywhere near Rome, make sure to carve out an evening for Esco. You’ll leave with a full heart, a happy stomach, and a promise to return

We were in the neighborhood to go listen to live music and needed to get a bite before. We came across this lovely little restaurant with small bites & entrees.

Burgers & fries were delicious. Prices were reasonable. Service was excellent.

They are a recent addition to the neighborhood and well worth giving them a look.
