A great place for both good beer as well as wine (with a good price), unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to try the food yet but we will sure return to do so! Great service with very kind staff. (Also I love the way they styled it, suitable for every kind of public as well!) My recent visit to this Roman spot was truly a little gem of an experience. The place is decorated in a beautifully curated vintage style that’s honestly hard to find elsewhere. It’s such a charming and welcoming atmosphere. The two young owners, Mirko and Samira, were incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable. Even though the place was full, they seated us at what was essentially a little chef’s table with high chairs right at the counter, which made the whole experience feel even more special and intimate. As for the food, it was top-notch. You can really tell these two know their craft. Samira, in particular, guided us through the wine selection with impressive expertise, and every dish was just delicious. In short, if I lived in Rome, this would absolutely be one of those places where I’d feel right at home. It’s a little gem where you can eat well and feel truly looked after. Highly recommended! The menu is intentionally small, which only highlights the attention to detail and the exceptional quality of the ingredients. Every dish feels thoughtfully curated. We started with the carrot hummus – absolutely out of this world – and then enjoyed the panuozzo and pizza piegata, both bursting with flavor and made with clearly fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each bite felt like a comforting taste of home.
The wine list is also something special. We were recommended a red wine that paired perfectly with our meal – bold, smooth, and unforgettable.
What truly sets Can Can apart is the unique blend of culinary traditions from Puglia and Naples. It’s an authentic and delicious experience that captures the best of southern Italy in one small, charming spot.
And of course, the owners are the heart and soul of the place – their hospitality and genuine passion elevate the whole experience. They are the cherry on top of the cake!
Highly, highly recommend visiting Can Can – I can’t wait to come back!
