Welcoming place, the guys are super kind and friendly. The food quality is EXCEPTIONAL!!!! It's like eating at grandma's house. Typical and traditional Spanish cuisine, with excellent value. It's hard to find such a genuine place, with fresh products, in Rome. Exceptional and highly recommended. 5 stars are not enough 🫶🏻

I've been there several times and tried practically the entire menu.
If you're looking for a place to try authentic, homemade Spanish cuisine, this is it!
The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable for a Spanish restaurant.
I'll be back again and again for the croquetas!

We discovered this place by chance while looking for something in the area. We were greeted with great enthusiasm and professionalism. The manager's Spanish origins made everything even more authentic. He explained each dish on the menu, dish by dish. We decided to try the entire menu (there were six of us), except the cod. Needless to say, each dish was a true dive into Spain. We also enjoyed two pitchers of sangria and Tinto de Verano.
The undisputed winners were the incredibly delicious Picoteo chicken, the almond and honey goat cheese, and the croquetas.
This place tends to lend itself more to an aperitivo/aperitif-dinner option, perhaps early or even for takeout. But our experience with table service was exceptional.
We'll definitely be back.
Deliciousness, kindness, professionalism.

I recently discovered this charming place where you can enjoy traditional Spanish cuisine, especially from the Extremadura and Andalusian regions. The owners are incredibly kind and eager to explain each dish in detail. The tapas are delicious and the ingredients are fresh. We tried several excellent tapas, all delicious, and they brought us back to our vacation in Seville. The quality of the various dishes/tapas is truly EXCEPTIONAL. You can tell that every dish is prepared with passion, care, and, above all, heart. Finally, a place in Rome serving authentic Spanish tapas (among so many fake, inauthentic Spanish places). We highly recommend "Picoteo," a place that has remained in our hearts, also for the kindness and friendliness of the two owners. Tomas, we thank you again so much and we will be back to visit you soon! ♥️
